Cleaning & Care of your Turner Leatherworks products

DO NOT USE ANY OILS ON YOUR TURNER LEATHERWORKS PRODUCT!

Your Turner Leatherworks item may become dirty after some time of use. If this occurs then wipe your Turner Leatherworks purchased item with a cloth using a quality brand saddle soap, as per the product directions. I recommend Fiebings Saddle Soap ‐ paste, (in the appropriate color), or the 4 ounce pump spray. If you cannot find this online, you can purchase it thru Turner Leatherworks. I also recommend doing this at least every six months, even if the item is not dirty from use. This will help to keep the leather in a nice conditioned state.

If your purchased item gets wet, DO NOT FORCE-DRY THE ITEM. Using heat can harden the leather, causing it to become brittle, shrink, and crack. Just let it dry naturally on a countertop. If your item is a holster or sheath ‐ safely remove and secure the weapon somewhere. It normally takes a little over 24 hours for a saturated holster to dry.

DO NOT PUT YOUR ITEM IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT, A HOT CAR, AN OVEN, OR A MICROWAVE TO DRY IT. DO NOT USE A BLOW DRYER, HEATGUN, OR HEATER TO DRY IT.

Just let it sit in a well-ventilated area to dry.

After the item had FULLY dried then I recommend following the above mentioned steps using a quality saddle soap to help return the item’s leather to a nice conditioned state.

DO NOT wear a Turner Leatherworks holster for long periods of time without your handgun in the holster, as it is molded for your particular handgun, doing so may cause damage to the holster, thus ruining the retention.
